Q1. Who is your inspiration for coming into the industry?
A. EVV Satyanarayana. He was from my native place and I wanted to be famous like him
Q2. Which director’s work has most influence on your work?
A. Ram Gopal Varma’s taking and Raghavendra Rao’s content
Q3. Favourite Hero?
A. Megastar Chiranjeevi. I was his fan since 7th Standard. I was his Fans Association President
Q4. Favourite Heroine ?
A. Vijayashanthi
Q5. Which film did you see most no. of times?
A. Appatlo Khaidi. Director ayyaka Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri ( Among old films, Khaidi. After I became a director, I watched Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri maximum no. of times)
Q6. Favourite dialogue from your films?
A. “Ammathodu, Addamga Narikestha” from Aadhi and “Telugu Bhashalo naaku nacchani oke oka padham kshaminchatam”, from Tagore.
Q7. Whom do you spend maximum time with among Industry people?
A. NTR. We spend a lot of time with each other whenever we are free.
Q8. What is your dream project?
A. A film with Rajinikanth
Q9. Best friend among directors?
A. S.S. Rajamouli. We are very close family friends.
Q10. Favourite holiday spot?
A. My native place Chagallu and Switzerland
Q11. Hardest film you ever shot?
A. Badrinath
Q12. Best Villain in the industry?
A.Prakash Raj. He has a soft and gentle face but can convey deadly villainism. He has tremendous variations.
Q13. Favourite song?
A. “Kodithe Kottali Ra” from Tagore and “Nee Navvula Thelladanam” from Aadhi
Q14. Favourite food?
A. I love Non Vegetarian food and sweets.
Q15. What would you have been if you didn’t make it as a director?
A.Probably some theater manager
