New Censor Board Rule
The Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) had taken a
shocking decision it had decided not to allow the TV screening of any new film
that originally had an ‘A’ certificate.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) usually
re-certifies A-rated films for TV and make them eligible for television
screening. And now the board had decided to stop that procedure. It’s a
decision – taken after discussions within the Board in accordance with the
provisions of the 1952 Cinematograph Act
The big movie makers will now be in danger of losing the
satellite rights.
